When HTC One Max was launched in 2013 everyone rushed and called it a failure. We haven’t had any high end HTC phablet since then and now Aitor Amigo has imagined HTC One Max second gen. We also get a full specs list and some detailed design shots.

I have to say this HTC phone sure is rectangular for a HTC… Anyway, you should know it comes with a 5.96 inch screen with a Quad HD resolution and it gives out the vibe of a Nexus 6 rival. This model measures 7.9 mm in thickness, weighs 159 grams and packs a 24 megapixel camera at the back, plus an 8 MP front shooter and a Snapdragon 810 3 GHz CPU. We’ve got an Adreno 430 GPU on board, 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 128 GB in internal storage.

There’s a 3600 mAh battery in the mix, stereo speakers, Gorilla Glass 4 protection and an aluminum unibody design. HTC One Max 2 uses an USB Type C connector with 10 Gbps connectivity, being 20 times faster than microUSB 2.0. It also comes with a dual tone flash, 4G LTE+ and a pretty solid looking design. Nice to see a phone with a USB Type C connector finally.
