Huawei Mate 50 Pro Latest Renders Bet On “Circle in Circle” Approach

Huawei P50 Pro has already arrived, but it’s only available in China, while the rest of the world is still waiting for it. Now there’s more and more talk about a Huawei Mate 50 Pro, which has just leaked in fresh renders. There’s an interesting “circle in circle” approach for the camera, which may excite some people.

Inside sources claim that the Huawei Mate 50 has made some breakthroughs, as far as the supply chain is concerned. A Weibo post from @HoiINDI reveals both info and renders for the device. The waterfall display of the Mate 30 Pro and Mate 40 Pro is still here and the punch hole for the selfie camera is also here. The back side has a gigantic, huge circular module, that integrates two segments, in a figure 8 shape.

The top one includes 3 cameras, probably the main one, ultrawide and a telephoto shooter. The bottom one includes a periscope camera and probably a Macro, Bokeh or Black and White sensor. There’s also an extra color sensor next to it and a large flash on the right side. The Leica branding shows that Leica is still a partner, in spite of the rumors saying that the partnership has dissolved.

Mate 50 is speculated to use a LTPO panel similar to the iPhone 13 ones. Adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate is also here. Inside we should get a Snapdragon 898 processor, as the rumors have it, but there will be also be a Kirin 9000 version of it. Snapdragon 898 uses 4 nm manufacturing process and reaches up to 3 GHz. We may also get 120W charging and stereo speakers.

What made the Mate 30 and 40 Pro special was the ability to capture colors and shadows, which may once again be an attribute for the new flagship.
