Christophe Simeon sent us a very well designed LG concept phone, that bases its appeal on a bunch of accessories that expand its features. Dubbed the LG Stellar, the handset is Christophe’s vision of a high end phone from LG.
The device measures 8.9 mm in thickness, but that can increase with the Active Folio accessories, up to 10.91 mm. LG Stellar relies on a magnesium frame, it’s waterproof and uses a 3200 mAh battery. Inside we find a quad core Snapdragon 800 quad core 2.3 GHz processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. We’ve got Qi induction charging via a special Hankook rubber back and also a kickstand provided by the same accessory.
LG Stellar has stereo speakers, a 5.5 inch Full HD display, a 13 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and a front 16 megapixel camera. Infrared and MHL 2.0 are also here, plus NFC, a microSD card slot and all the sensor goodness you can imagine. The Fuel Active Folio accessory offers a 6400 mAh battery and a suede screen protection, plus a 30 degree hinge.
The Active Folio Scene has an extra 5.5 inch Full HD screen, from what I can see and a special rubber protection. This has got to be one of the most complex concept phones ever, with each and every aspect well thought. Congratulations Christophe!
