Designer Delta Concepts has come up with a new Microsoft Surface Phone concept, that seems based on input and Continuum more than anything else. Its case is the actual star of the concept video below.
Said case is made of smaller compartments and it’s able to detach in a way that lets you type more comfortably. The keys that cover half of the screen (lower half) are than expanded to a full QWERTY setup, about the same size as an usual keyboard. The Surface Phone can be connected to a monitor, a dock and keyboard with Continuum and become a full fledged PC.
After seeing the HP Elite X3 and its cool idea for a Continuum laptop, it’s very hard to be surprised by such devices anymore. The Surface Phone shown here has a kickstand, a generous 5.5 inch+ bezel-free screen and it has a case that seems to be made of metal. We can’t tell much more than that, but it possibly has a Snapdragon 820 CPU inside.
