Motorola Moto G6 debuted this spring and there’s already talk of the Moto G7, even though it’s waaaay too early for that. There are also freshly leaked renders of the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus, which you can check out after the break.

The creation of Waqar Khan, the Moto G7 and G7 Plus stick with the familiar waterdrop notch we’ve been seeing so much lately. I can’t exactly tell which is the Moto G7 and which is the Moto G7 Plus, but I suppose they will look similar, with just a diagonal bump for the Plus unit. I see there teardrop notch is similar to what we see on the Oppo R17 and Oppo F9, soon on the OnePlus 6T.

The fingerprint scanner is probably integrated into the dimple at the back with the Moto logo and the bezels are narrower than ever. The curved glass panel at the back is here to say and it looked wonderful on the predecessor, to be honest. I also see a dual back camera here and I think the resolution has been upgraded, maybe even to something cool like 12 MP + 20 MP even.

I’d also throw in some modularity, even though that’s basically reserved to the Moto Z series. In spite of these phones looking good, I think a notch isn’t enough to justify an upgrade. What next? By the way, very nicely done video for the Moto G7 below.
