Nothing Fold (1) Foldable Phone Could Actually Happen; Here Are Some Renders

The past week brought us specs for the Nothing Phone 2 and also a launch date and now we also learn of the existence of a potential foldable Nothing Phone. Dubbed Nothing Fold (1), it’s just a concept for now, but one that was shared by Nothing on its social media account.

This is the creation of designer 3DPCat/BitJewel, real name Brandon Paul. The device stands out through the LED lights on the hinge, which can turn into the Nothing logo or simply an exclamation mark of sorts. The concept render features a long strip of LED light with a smaller circular light above, which I’m calling an exclamation mark.

The overall design format is that not that different from the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or the Google Pixel Fold. It has curved corners, like Z Fold for the smaller screen, the cover one. The design is rather boxy and angular here. The inner display, the foldable one features narrower bezels than the Google Pixel Fold or the Galaxy Z Fold and also seems to lack a punch hole for the selfie camera.

We could see an under display camera here. In order for this device to make it, it should have some extras, like stylus support, no crease for the screen and a no gap design.
