Teasers are exactly that, small glimpses into the identity of a product, while also hyping it up for the future. Once such teaser arrives today, courtesy of designer Concept Creator, who already sees a future flagship for HMD/ Nokia. It’s the Nokia 10 Pureview!
Obviously, I feel compelled to mention that I didn’t like the Nokia 9 Pureview, at least camera-wise. It had an excellent screen, not half bad design, even though the bezels were kind of large for 2019. The camera however, took forever to take pictures and even more during low light conditions. Also, the 5 camera thing (actually 6) was rather useless, as I’ve seen dual camera phone and even single camera ones do a much better job.
Back to the teaser, Concept Creator proposes a Nokia 10 Pureview with a generous combo of LED and Xenon flash for the main camera. Also, a return to the protruding and metal edged Lumia 1020 camera. In a way the door has been open for that courtesy of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, according to its leaks. The video teaser is very dark and we can’t make much of it… but we can speculate.
I’d speculate that we’re about to get a glass and metal phone, with a Snapdragon 855+ or 865 CPU, 8 GB of RAM or 12 GB and once again a solid OLED screen. The camera requires a bump to a 48 MP sensor and the usual array of telephoto, wide angle and Bokeh lenses. We’ll probably see this at MWC 2020, trying to make a splash thanks to the lower price.
