As the whole world is waiting for June 10th for the unveiling of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G smartphone, it appears that OnePlus has “one more thing” ready for us. It’s the OnePlus Nord N200 5G, freshly unveiled by Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO, as an exclusive info for the PCMag website.
Interestingly enough, the device sounds like an US exclusive. Pete Lau claimed in an interview with PCMag, where he made the announcement that this will be the company’s most affordable 5G device ever. The design is actually shockingly good looking, compared to the predecessor, the 4G N100. It actually looks more like the OnePlus 9 than the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. It’s said to offer a 6.59 inch IPS LCD Full HD screen, with a punch hole at the left side and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
That’s quite the upgrade from the HD screen of the N100. We see 3 cameras at the back with quite the large lenses. There’s no fingerprint scanner at the back, but I seem to have spotted one on the side in the Power button. Indian YouTuber and leaker Mukul Sharma confirmed the June 15th debut, which is just 5 days after the CE 5G unveiling. We expect a Snapdragon 480 5G here, 4 GB of RAM and a 5000 mAh battery would also be nice. I feel that the main camera will adopt the classic setup 48 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. Maybe replacing the 2 MP sensors with 5 MP ones would be a smart decision.
