OPPO Find X5/ Find X5 Pro Gets First Renders, Has Atypical Camera

Yesterday we learned that OPPO was skipping the figure “4” and going straight to “5”. Thus, after the OPPO Find X3 Pro comes the OPPO Find X5 Pro and it’s shown below, via renders. They’re based on sketches leaked online recently and unveiled by @OnLeaks.

The device has an atypical camera module design, with an irregular shape. The “crater” approach of the OPPO Find X3 Pro is kept here, but without copying the iPhone 12 Pro this time. The back side feels like sandpaper combined with leather of sorts, texture-wise. The facade integrates a screen with very narrow bezels and with a very small punch hole to the left. There’s a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor here, lots of RAM and a battery that may charge up to 125W.

At the back we find only two big lens cameras with 50 MP sensors, probably one for the main shooter and the other for the ultrawide. I doubt that a telephoto cam has been implemented sans periscope and ditching the ultrawide cam, that’s why I think it’s got a wider lens. We see a third sensor, probably for a Bokeh or Macro shooter, or perhaps a ToF, LiDAR or temperature color sensor.

Find X5 is said to have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and both this one and the Find X5 Pro should have a 6.7 inch screen with AMOLED panel and 120 Hz refresh rate. FHD+ for the X5 and QHD+ for the X5 Pro. No microscope camera this time around…
