Oppo looks ready to roll out the Reno14 Pro, the successor to last year’s Reno13 Pro, which launched in China back in November. While the company hasn’t officially said a word yet, leaked renders and specs are starting to paint a pretty detailed picture.
Right off the bat, the Reno14 Pro seems to be shaking things up in the design department. The triple rear camera layout is getting a makeover — this time with the main and ultrawide sensors housed together, while the periscope telephoto lens is tucked above the flash module. According to the leak, we’re looking at a 50MP main shooter with OIS, a 50MP periscope camera offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide.
The device will reportedly keep the glass back and metal frame, but the curved display from the Reno13 Pro is being swapped out for a flat OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate — a move many users will probably welcome. Oh, and there’s a new wildcard in the mix: a so-called “Magic Cube” button on the left edge of the phone. What it actually does is still a mystery, but we’re intrigued.
Other tidbits include an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance, and Android 15 out of the box with ColorOS 15 layered on top. Interestingly, Oppo seems to be phasing out the Google Dialer in favor of its own ODialer app — another sign of the brand leaning further into its own ecosystem.
Expect more details to drop soon as we get closer to launch — likely within the next month or two.
