Remember the precentral Palm design contest? We’re back with another one of the finalists, the Palm Pre HD concept, a webOS 2.0 phone designed by bhughes719. This is certainly a piece of work and we really like the idea, especially when compared to the not so impressive Palm Pre 2.

Here’s what the device is all about:

– 4MP front camera with LED flash
– gesture area below the screen
– 7MP rear camera with autofocus/LED flash, 720p video capture
– 3.8 inch AMOLED Touch display, 960 x 640 pixels
– 1GB ROM, 512MB RAM, 32GB storage (microSD)
– accelerometer, ambient light, proximity sensors
– GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth
– 1800 mAh battery
– slide-out physical landscape QWERTY keyboard

So, what do you say? Is this better than the Palm Pre 2?

Of course it is but someone should do the research on the parts cost and if it isn’t a big cost compared to other phones just alike then patent the design and sell it to Palm. i mean i think a 4mp camera on the front is a bit much and probably too expensive but a 2mp isn’t that bad. but i think retina or super amoled works either way as long as i can type on the screen with my nail like older Palm phones im sold.
