Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should theoretically debut at the end of the year 2021, but since Samsung already launched its Galaxy S21 phones early, we could also see an earlier debut for the high midranger. Till that happens we’ve registered probably the third or fourth big leak for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, courtesy of Letsgodigital and Concept Creator.
What they do is very complex: they take the existing info about the yet unlaunched device and turn it into a series of colorful new renders. Expected to be a “young man’s phone”, the brand new Galaxy S21 FE combines elements from both the S20 FE and the S21 series. We’re once again expected to get a Full HD+ resolution screen and a plastic back panel. The camera module is now wrapped around the top left corner and the device gets a triple camera setup, probably with a better telephoto zoom than the S21 series.
Anything less than the 3x optical zoom of the S20 FE would be seen as a downgrade. The camera module has the same color as the back and the device is pictured in green, pink, purple, blue and black. Expect a flat screen, with mid level bezel thickness and also a Snapdragon 888 CPU inside. The diagonal will be interesting to see, it’s either 6.5 or 6.7 inches. However, there’s a sudden demand for small phones, as revealed by the fact that the ZenFone 8 will be petite and the Xperia Compact is also looming in the horizon.
A 6.1 inch device would work wonders here, but it most likely won’t happen. An IP68 rating is also here according to the designer, who also mentions a 120 Hz refresh rate and a high resolution selfie camera. We could once again see a 4G version with an Exynos 2100 CPU and a 5G one with Snapdragon 888. RAM goes from 6 GB to 8 GB and storage from 128 GB to 256 GB. A $650 or $700 price is likely.
