Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Aluminum Dummy Unit Leaked On Video

A week ago we saw the first Samsung Galaxy S22 dummy unit and now it’s time to check out the Galaxy S22 Ultra in dummy form. Courtesy of Coverpigtou we also get a video of it, in an aluminum mold version. Such molds are produced for case makers, so they can adapt dimensions to future devices.

There’s also bad news this week: Samsung apparently postponed the Galaxy S22 till February and MWC and it’s going to launch the S21 FE 5G in January. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is shown here as a dummy with an L shaped camera and without protrusion. The flat top and bottom parts and very curved sides feel like a throwback to the Nokia N9, if you remember it. The result feels like a massive phone, quite long and thick, but somehow the camera island has decreased in size.

It’s a trend that also appeared in several iPhone 14 concepts. We may see discrete bumps or “humps” that slope up gently like the Oppo Find X3 Pro had with its “crater” design. I’m more curious about the Exynos 2200 CPU with AMD graphics than the 200 MP camera that may or may not appear on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Too bad that the Olympus partnership didn’t come through.
