Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Rendered With S-Pen, Quad Camera and More Via OnLeaks

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra should launch in January 2022 and we seem to be pretty far from that debut, but not far enough to prevent leaks from happening. Such leaks have brought us here: we finally have a set of competent and believable renders for the device, showing off a completely new camera design.

These renders come courtesy of @OnLeaks and Digit.in, who published the images exclusively. The Galaxy S22 Ultra appears with a P shaped camera module and looks a bit rough around the edges. It should be the 2022 flagship that Samsung proposes, one that once again replaces a Galaxy Note by using its own stylus. The curved design is somehow a throwback to the Galaxy Note 20 a bit. We’ve actually heard this could happen, as the Galaxy S units would get boxier in order to emulate the styling of a Note.

As per the source, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has flat edges at the top and bottom, plus a slot that houses the S-Pen. This would definitely kill the existence of the Galaxy Note forever. The Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a curved 6.8 inch screen, a high resolution AMOLED panel with high refresh rate. The handset measurements are 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm and it reaches a thickness of 10.5 mm if you include the camera bump.

The device’s P shaped camera module includes a periscope telephoto lens and from what we’ve heard Samsung isn’t ready to go to 200 MP yet, so it sticks to a 108 MP shooter for now. We should also get a 10 MP periscope zoom camera, a 12 MP ultrawide camera and probably an extra telephoto camera for closer zoom. A Bokeh or Macro cam may also appear. Upfront there should an under display camera, but that’s unlikely just yet.

The Exynos 2200 CPU with AMD graphics will be nice to see in action.
