Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Renders Leaked, Show Familiar Design, Bulkier Waist

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Ring are expected to debut in early July 2024, that’s the consensus going around right now. We just saw renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and now the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has leaked as well.

The leak comes from the very same source as the previous one, @OnLeaks and SmartPrix. The general design format is largely unchanged from the predecessor, but the dimensions have changed. The Z Flip 6 measures reportedly 165.0 x 71.7 x 7.4 mm when unfolded. Well, the Flip 5 before it measured 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm.

The increased thickness may be associated with a bigger battery, with some reports talking about a 4000 mAh unit, which is 300 mAh extra from the last year model. The extra thickness could also help reduce the crease, leaving more room for the flex hinge and reducing the strain on the display when folded. We’ve also heard of a technology called Ironflex, for the brand new hinge.

The inner screen keeps the 6.7 inch diagonal size and the cover display stays at 3.4 inches, with a dual camera cut into it. It’s still smaller than the Moto RAZR 40 Ultra’s 3.6 inches. Some sources even hinted at an external 3.9 inch screen, but odds of that happening are very slim. Other than that we are due a main camera upgrade, from 12 MP to 50 MP and also a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU inside.

Plus Galaxy AI, of course.
