Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Concept Is Actually Believable

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 may have received a render or two, even one brave enough to showcase two external screens, but now it’s the time of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 to shine. I has received a render and a video thanks to a collab between Technizo Concept and leakster Super Roader.

There won’t be a dedicated S Pen slot here, but the device will close without a gap this time. The camera design is very much similar to the Galaxy S23 one, with the lenses sprouting straight from the back side. The new concept render is not very far from the Ice Universe leak, that talked about S23 similarities. A teardrop hinge is also teased for this foldable phone.

The hinge is similar to the OPPO Flexion hinge on the Find N2 Flip somehow. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 will thus fold flat like its rivals, instead of having that triangular gap between the two halves. We also get to see a Fold Edition S-Pen, which will be sold as a separate accessory. The video reveals two colors for the device, shimmery gold and coral green. Both color versions will be matched with a glossy finish.

The form factor stay largely he same from the predecessor, with a SIM tray on the left and volume buttons with the fingerprint scanner on the right side. We’re expecting this device to drop in August 2023, with the Z Flip 5. It should have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, 50 MP main cam, an ultrawide shooter and a telephoto camera. Hopefully with zoom better than 2X optical.
