Samsung’s long-rumored tri-fold phone is edging closer to reality. New leaks from Evan Blass (@evleaks) offer the clearest look yet at the Galaxy Z TriFold, Samsung’s most ambitious foldable hardware experiment to date. And unlike earlier concept teases, this leak focuses strictly on specs — giving us a better sense of how Samsung might position its first three-panel device.
According to the leaked sheet, the Galaxy Z TriFold features a 6.5-inch cover screen and a massive 10-inch internal display that unfolds via a multi-segment hinge. Peak brightness hits 2,600 nits on the cover panel and 1,600 nits on the main screen, putting it roughly in line with Samsung’s flagship slabs. The camera hardware also follows that premium playbook, with a 200-megapixel main shooter headlining the rear setup. Power comes from a 5,437mAh battery and an unnamed Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, presumably from the company’s top-tier series.
Foldable hardware tends to balloon in thickness, but Samsung seems to be working hard to keep the profile in check. The TriFold reportedly measures between 3.9mm and 4.2mm across its leaf sections when fully opened — numbers that hint at a surprisingly slim unfolded footprint for a device with three display layers.
As for availability, don’t expect a global rollout. The TriFold is rumored to debut before the end of 2025, with early distribution limited to Korea and select Asian markets. Pricing, however, is already making waves: reports point to 4.4 million KRW — around USD 3,000 — cementing this as a halo product rather than a mainstream Galaxy Fold alternative.
Launch timing remains fuzzy. Samsung has only confirmed a broad 2025 window, while earlier whispers from Ice Universe suggested an October debut that never materialized. More recent reports now point to early December, with a launch event and same-day sales targeted for around December 5. Until Samsung steps in with official details, treat every date as placeholder — but with leaks accelerating, the company’s first tri-fold phone finally feels within reach.
