Another week, another Sony Xperia Z4 concept, this time one created by Babak Soren. He envisions the phone differently than we’ve seen before and even came up with a brand new UI for the handset.
The Xperia Z4 has a curved back and it’s quite bulky by current standards. The front side feels a lot like the current Xperias and the camera area is very interesting, because it seems to lack a flash. It may be implemented as a ring around the cam or attached with special accessories. The UI is very simple and minimalistic, perhaps sporting too big icons, if you ask me. The Android icons have been given a new twist and most menus and widgets are transparent.
The icons seem inspired by those from the camera UI on previous Xperias, so they’re all white and thick. Even the Walkman player has changed and back to the design a bit, I’m really curious to see how this curved back would fit in the palm of the user. Is there room on the market for such a device?
