It’s enough to click on Sony Xperia Z5 and you’ll see an impressive variation of concepts of this device. Most of them look the same, rectangular slabs of metal and glass, with slit speakers and some with the new fingerprint scanner on the side. And now let’s see TechRadar’s version!

Their vision of the Sony Xperia Z5 instantly stands out through dual pull out speakers, able to offer high def sound. The rounded edges of the smartphone make it more ergonomic and the handset is also waterproof at a depth of 10 meters this time. It also has a special underwater “glove mode”, so it supports input even when submerged.

This slim handset has a 5.5 inch Quad HD screen, one that seems to curve onto the sides, in a more discrete way than the Galaxy S6 Edge. The device also has an improved back camera with 20+ megapixel resolution, a fingerprint scanner and a totally new interface, from what I can see here. I find this design great, but I think those pop up speakers are a bit fragile.
