Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra Predictions Are Here

After the grand success of the Xiaomi Mi 11 series in the market, the company is expected to announce the Xiaomi Mi 12 series, which promises to provide a full flagship experience. Unlike the Mi 11 series, all Xiaomi Mi 12 series may follow the same rear camera facing design and debut the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.  Previously the company used the Snapdragon 888 SoC in Mi 11 series.

Design and Display 

It is expected to continue the high-quality screen, having a resolution of 2K for the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra series. One thing is for sure: the 120Hz refresh rate will be available on the device since there will be upgrade to an adaptive LTPO variable refresh rate display. So, the device will automatically adjust the rate with the device’s usage, which ultimately saves the battery. 

Camera and Sound 

The depth of the camera has not yet been public, but there is an assumption that Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra could have a triple camera setup with:

  • a 50 MP primary lens, 
  • a 20 MP ultra-wide sensor, and 
  • a 12MP 10x optical zoom. 

A 200 megapixel camera has also been rumored for the main cam and we can even expect the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra to use a retractable design like SLR. Also, there is a high chance that the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra features an in-house retractable lens. Moreover, there is also the possibility of a dual front camera setup with 8MP and 32 MP configurations. 

Talking about the sound, an assumption is that a dual stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos system will be in Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra. 

Processor in Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra 

It is assumed that the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is about to debut in the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra. The Arm’s latest V9 architecture CPU features the 4 nm chipset with Adreno 670 GPU. From the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra, people can expect to have a high performance in gaming and day-to-day work. 

Battery and Extras 

A 5,000mAh or even higher battery with 120W fast charging and 80W wireless charging capacity is supposed to come along with the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra. There is also a rumor that a “three-state” liquid cooling technology keeps the battery safe, and sound will be used in Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra. 

Summing Up: 

Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra has a very high chance of not hitting other markets except the Chinese market. There is an assumption that the device has no plan to arrive till early 2022; however, if the Mi 12 Ultra is available in the market then this phone would be the best budget-friendly phone where people can have a great gaming and day-to-day work experience because of the high-tech and powerful processor. Moreover, the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in Xiaomi 12 is confirmed by Xiaomi.
