Xiaomi Mi MIX was certainly a stunning piece of work last year and everybody’s super excited about its follow up. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is already in the works, with designer Philippe Starck already on the task. In the meantime we get to see the Techconfigurations take on the device below.

They envisioned this model with a 93% screen to body ratio, which is something already confirmed apparently by Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun. The designers of the concept also included here a dual camera, a ceramic body, but this time with a slightly curved frame design, for improved ergonomics and grip. The bezel becomes 50% slimmer and specs include a 6.4 inch Quad HD AMOLED screen with 3D Touch and 6 GB of RAM.

The CPU goes to a Snapdragon 835 and we also get 16 MP dual camera modules with laser autofocus, PDAF and OIS, while upfront there’s an 8 MP camera, placed at the bottom bezel. Seeing how ceramic proved to be a fingerprint magnet and also rather fragile especially in the corners, it may not appear on the real thing.
