Xiaomi Poco F1 is arguably the biggest hit among the smartphones that Xiaomi launched in India this year and it’s due a follow-up sometimes in 2019. That device, Xiaomi Poco F2 has already been envisioned by Smartphone 360, a YouTube channel focused on concepts and designs of phones that have yet to be created.
They kind of go all out with this one, with a triple camera, 5G support and more goodies. Xiaomi Poco F2 has a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED display, plus a 19.5:9 aspect and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU, even though the official name of the future CPU is most likely Snapdragon 8150. It runs on a yet unlaunched Android 9.1 Pie and comes with a 5000 mAh batter.
It keeps the audio jack somehow and integrates the fingerprint reader within the screen panel. Upfront there’s a dual camera that’s integrated without a notch, but rather with two holes precisely drilled within the glass panel. I’ve seen this approach with a recent leak of an Oppo phone. The back camera includes a 24 MP sensor, 13 MP sensor and 8 MP sensor, all of them working together.
Some of the shots of Poco F2 make it look like it has a back covered in leather. Not bad! And this is a question for our friends in India: how much would you pay for a Poco F2? The F1 was $300 even with high end specs.
