iPhone SE 3 Gets Fresh Renders With Larger Screen, Wide Notch

The iPhone SE 3 has been the topic of rumors for about 2-3 years now, but in 2021 we didn’t get a budget iPhone, so people feel that Apple somehow “owes us” one. The last model came in 2020, the iPhone SE 2020 and now in 2022 we’ll get the iPhone SE 3. Courtesy of xLeaks7 and Tentechreview we get the fresh renders below.

First of all, the iPhone SE 3 has a bigger notch and also a larger diagonal. We get a singular back camera with LED flash and the measurements of the device, according to the source are 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm. There’s no chin and no Home button or Touch ID and also, there’s no large upper “lip”, replaced by a piece of the screen with a notch. This iPhone apparently has a 5.69 inch screen and the notch will host a Face ID sensor and also a selfie camera.

On the right side we’ll find a Power button and also a SIM tray, while on the left we find the volume buttons and Silent button. The iPhone SE 3 is apparently more inspired by the iPhone XR than the iPhone SE series. It should sport an Apple A14 Bionic processor or Apple A15 processor inside and probably also 5G connectivity. There are some voices saying that these renders are totally off and Apple may once again recycle the iPhone 7 or iPhone 8.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, till around March or April, if the component crisis doesn’t hit Apple harder.
