Ever since modu, modular phones were never given much credit, so it’s good to see that such initiatives exist. Enter the Combination Phone, a concept created by Wen-Tsung Lin & Wan-Rurng Hung. It’s got a steady front plate and modular components and it’s pictured below.
This device allows the user to upgrade its components by adding them to the core unit. There’s also a charging dock in the bundle, being used as a transmission hub and turning the handset into a home phone. I guess that since this is a modular phone, you can add better cameras to it, extra memory, and maybe a keyboard or some extra chipsets via accessories.
