Sick of the same old Samsung and HTC concept phones? Well, today we have a new handset brand, imagined by Lucas Silva. The brand new phone shown below belongs to the brand Beyond Phones.
The handset comes with upper midrange specs, like a 5.1 inch OLED screen and a Snapdragon 616 processor. There’s the Adreno 405 GPU in the mix, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera with Zeiss tech and the ability to record in 2K. There’s a 5 megapixel wide angle selfie shooter and a battery with 3000 mAh capacity and Quick Charge, too.
Lucas Silva, the designer has also imagined a new OS for the phone, called B.O.S.S. There’s also something called 3D Sense, which is basically a 3D Touch alternative. From what I can see, the OS is pretty much iPhone-like, with all the apps on homescreens, big, flat and skeumorphic icons. The way 3D Sense interacts with icons is also very similar to Apple’s 3D Touch.
[Thanks Lucas Silva]
