Of all the companies, names and brands that could design a foldable phone, Pablo Escobar’s brother is the last one that comes to mind. Well, Roberto Escobar apparently created a foldable phone and promotes it with supermodels and a very low price. It all sounds like a hallucination and I’d be surprised if it’s actually real. We have a promo video of it with semi nude girls below.

Competing with the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X comes the Pablo Escobar Fold 1, It’s priced at just $349 and has a hinge that’s much larger than its rivals. The device has a golden colored body and I doubt that it uses actual gold, although a special version may come with this approach. There’s a single folding AMOLED screen here and the display is placed on the outside of the device, not inside like the Galaxy Fold.

We don’t have a diagonal, but I’d speculate it’s anywhere between 6.7 inches and 8.5 inches. There’s a 4000 mAh battery, which sounds like a pretty modest feature for such a large panel and I find it odd that there’s a dual camera on the inner bezel. It features 16 megapixel and 20 megapixel shooters and the phone also offers a dual SIM setup, plus a fingerprint scanner, which isn’t detailed and we can’t quite see it.

PE Fold 1 doesn’t have glass at the front, but rather a “specialized plastic”, which is “almost impossible to break”, according to Roberto Escobar. There’s also the promise of extra security and data is definitely not being sold to governments, according to the device’s maker. The hallucination doesn’t end here, as Escobar aims to sue Apple for $30 billion for “scamming people and taking their data”.

If this piece of news didn’t pop up on December 1st, it would have definitely been an April’s Fools joke…By the way, the Pablo Escobar Fold 1 is limited to 100.000 phones and comes unlocked for all carriers on the globe.
