Imagined by Christof Gruber, the HTC smartwatch shown here is an idea that we haven’t seen before. This watch concept can be used as a smartphone. It comes in 8 colors, measures 4.7 mm in thickness and weighs 71 grams.
Its screen is a 2.5 incher with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and inside this HTC smartwatch there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad core 1.2 GHz processor. The watch runs Android 4.4 with HTC Sense Smart 1.0, a simplified version of the already very minimalistic Sense UI. The storage is 8 GB and there’s also 1 GB of RAM and a 4 Ultrapixel camera on the bracelet.
This device does WiFi, it has a GPS and a 1200 mAh battery. The connectivity includes 3G and microUSB 3.0, plus NFC, infrared and Bluetooth. The HTC Smart watch render was done in Google Sketchup, just in case you’re wondering. Of course, this concept is not that complex, it’s more of a sketch itself…
