As we head into the summer, we prepare both for Computex releases, but also for those coming to IFA 2017. Some Xperias have leaked and the LG V30 also popped up in a rumor or two. The folks of DBS Designing took it upon themselves to envision this phablet, as shown below.

Based on the LG G6, but different, this phablet comes with a secondary display. It’s a water resistant machine with the same curved corners of the screen panel as the LG G6. Bezels are very narrow and I’m guessing the body is made of metal. If you look closely, you’ll see a dual front camera, in a kind of crowded area at the top front of the machine.

Another innovation is the integration of the fingerprint scanner within the screen panel, something that Apple and Samsung are said to be struggling with right now. Interestingly, there seems to be no seam or separation between the secondary screen and the main one, which makes the dual front camera look odd. LG V30 also adopts a pretty discrete back camera, with two sensors integrated in a slim module.

The handset has a 5.8 inch Quad HD Plus screen, Android 8.0 and 128 GB of storage. This certainly sounds better than the LG G6… Not sure about that second screen integration though.
