When I saw the Motorola luxury phone below, I had a bit of a deja vu and remembered that I saw this form factor before. In fact it was Faisal Semari, the same designer experimenting with it on a previous award winning concept phone. He has since refined the format and the result can be seen below.

This device is made of a luxurious material and it’s able to adapt the screen color to the whole chassis and make the display even more seamless, when it’s off. I can’t exactly say what materials are used here, but I envision some sort of new alloy, both comfy to hold and precious, but also resilient to stress.

The way the Motorola logo is embedded within the bottom front reminds me of the way a Mercedes brand sticks out from the front of the Merc cars. The pebble form factor is supposed to give the handset a smooth fit into your palm and also let it be comfy next to the ear. My only worries about this render are related to the fact the handset is a bit smaller than one expects, especially when compared to the length of a pen for example.
