It seems that Nokia/HMD Global is about to get busy with the famous screen notch, judging by the latest leak. Turns out that there’s a Nokia X6 incoming and it’ll feel like a combo of the Nokia 7 Plus and the iPhone X. Check it out here.

First of all we have a render posted on Twitter by Matias Peltola and sort of confirmed by Evan Blass. Then we have another render leaked via Weibo and Baidu from China. As you know, HMD partenered up with Foxconn to make the latest Nokia phones, so this may explain the Chinese leaks. I have little faith in the Twitter leak, since the back looks way too much like the Nokia 7 Plus. It’s basically the same.

However, the facade is pretty nifty, albeit less curved than in the Chinese leak. The logo placement is bizarre for sure since it may distract many people with its lack of symmetry. Also, a set of last minute hands on leaks seem to reveal that the back is totally different, covered in glass and very glossy. The notch upfront is rather small, reminding me of a Huawei P20 Pro somehow.

I expect a debut sometime in the next month, with high midrange specs. It’s either Computex material or IFA 2018.
