Samsung already unveiled the Galaxy A42 5G and also the Galaxy A32 5G was leaked just half a second ago. Now it’s time for the Samsung Galaxy A52 to pop up, or better said the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, which you can see here in renders. They come courtesy of Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks, one of the most prolific leaksters ever.
The follow-up to the Galaxy A51 5G which was released in April 2020 just came up and it’s very likely to appear either this month or the next at CES 2021. Galaxy A52 5G adopts a typical Galaxy A design, with larger bezels, a chin and a punch hole selfie camera in the center of the “forehead”. There’s also a polycarbonate back with a striped and triangular pattern, plus a nifty blue/green glow. The back camera is a quad affair with 3 sensors set up vertically and one more to their right side.
The source also mentions the dimensions of the newcomer: 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm and the thickness grows to 10 mm, on account of the camera bump. We’re supposed to expect a 6.5 inch Super AMOLED screen here, with an embedded fingerprint sensor and also a centered punch hole for the selfie camera, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack. The back is plastic, the sides are metal. Since the direct predecessor came at around $499, we expect a similar price to be applied here.
It’s also easy to predict other specs: 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 5000 mAh battery, 64 MP main camera, 8 or 12 MP ultrawide and a Bokeh and Macro shooter. There should also be a new Exynos midrange CPU or maybe a Snapdragon 750G 5G.
