Sometimes we simply like to cover leaks of smartphones, instead of concept renders, especially when there’s a premiere involved. Over the past 24 hours we came across the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) renders, the first Samsung triple camera phone.
Freshly rendered, the device shows a rather typical Galaxy A facade, combined with an unusual triple camera setup. It’s hard to believe that Samsung has been in the game for a year, with its first dual camera device launched at the end of summer 2017. And now they’re going to triple cameras and some sources even say to a quadruple camera come Galaxy S10. Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has a wallpaper that feels like the one of the Galaxy Note 9 and its specs include 4 GB of RAM and an Exynos 7885 processor.
Interestingly we don’t get a dual front camera here, in spite of speculations and rumors. There’s only a singular one. We could see a side placed fingerprint scanner, like on the Samsung Galaxy J6 Prime/Plus. Considering Samsung has an event scheduled for October 11th, it’s very likely we’ll get to see the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) there, plus a Galaxy A9 Pro, according to rumors.
I’m pretty sure that the triple camera thing will get transplanted to the Galaxy S10, by the way.
