Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ Get Renders From 4RMD, Also a Video

Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ leaked last week and also the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which we covered here. Now those leaks have inspired renders, published and created by 4RMD. There are few surprises, with the biggest one being the fact that the main camera design has changed.

While the Galaxy S23 Ultra is sans camera island and completely flattens two camera lenses (no metal rings), the S23 and S23+ ditches the camera module completely, opting for lenses that come out of the back side. This camera design of the S23 gives up on the wraparound camera island, which was wrapped around the device’s corner previously. The screen is expected to have a narrower bezel and the designer sees these devices as coming with 5 different colors.

The smaller unit has a 6.1 inch Dynamic AMOLED panel, with a higher brightness, reaching around 1500 nits. Camera-wise, we get a new 16 megapixel ultrawide lens, a 50 MP wide camera with 8K recording at 30 FPS. Low light improvements have been performed, even though the S22 series was all about Nightography and night time capture. We also get a new 12 MP telephoto lens with 4X optical zoom. A faster CPU is inside, an Exynos 2300, a 5 nm chip, 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.

The battery grows to 3900 mAh and charging happens at 30W, a slight upgrade from 25W. Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are available in Phantom Black, Phantom White, Pink Gold, Blue and Phantom Violet.
