It’s time for yet another Samsung concept phone, this time the 2017 flagship. I’m talking about the Samsung Galaxy S8, that’s pictured below according to the renders from Giztimes.com.

Specs are pretty predictable and include a Snapdragon 830 processor, or a MediaTek chipset, depending on the region. A 12 megapixel camera stays on, possibly with some new technology, as well as 4 or 6 GB of RAM. There’s a 3660 mAh battery in the mix for the Galaxy S8 and a 4000 mAh unit for the S8 Edge, it seems. Samsung can afford to make the design slimmer than this year and the big question will be if they give up the glass or not.

They could opt for ceramic, full metal or maybe a new type of material. However, glass keeps evolving and it’s close to unbreakable now. If we take into account the evolution of OLED, in its flexible forms, the future starts to get very interesting all of a sudden. The first pertinent leaks may appear after the Galaxy Note 6 is launched.
