It’s been a while since POCO last took the spotlight, but now the POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro are making waves through newly leaked renders. The upcoming series, which is expected to launch soon, showcases a refreshed design and a blend of yellow and black that stands out in the crowded smartphone market.
Redesigned Aesthetic with Bold Color Options
According to the renders, the POCO X7 features a design reminiscent of the Redmi Note 14 Pro, particularly with its curved display and triple rear cameras. The device is showcased in green, silver, and the eye-catching yellow-black combo that POCO fans are sure to appreciate.
Meanwhile, the POCO X7 Pro opts for a slightly different aesthetic, with a dual-tone green or gray finish and a simpler dual-camera setup on the back. It also embraces flat edges for a more modern look, while retaining the yellow-black color option as a nod to POCO’s signature style.
A Glimpse at the Specs
Although full specifications remain under wraps, the POCO X7 series is expected to share a lot with the Redmi Note 14 lineup. Both the X7 and X7 Pro are rumored to feature AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling.
Under the hood, the POCO X7 5G is likely to pack 8GB or 12GB of RAM alongside 256GB or 512GB of storage. The X7 Pro 5G is also expected to offer the same memory configurations. On the camera front, both models should feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS for improved low-light performance and stabilization.
A third device, the POCO X7 Neo, is rumored to be part of the lineup as well. It recently appeared on GeekBench, reportedly powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, positioning it as a mid-tier option.
Launch and Availability
If history is any indicator, the POCO X7 series could make its debut at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, following the precedent set by the POCO X6 earlier this year. While it’s unclear if all three models will launch globally, the POCO X7 and X7 Pro are likely to hit European markets, given the brand’s expanding presence in the region.
With HyperOS 2.0 expected to run out of the box and POCO’s reputation for offering premium features at competitive prices, the X7 series has the potential to disrupt the mid-range segment once again.
Stay tuned for more updates as the official announcement approaches.
