The idea of a triple camera iPhone is getting more and more traction these days, reaching into render territory even. We’ve already seen speculations about a triple camera iPhone and now we see an iPhone X Plus with this feature. Let’s check it out.

The camera setup is said to be similar to the Huawei P20 Pro one and it also borrows the 5x optical zoom from Oppo. The source claims we may even this iPhone this year, or in 2019 at the latest. From what I can see the three cameras are placed in line in one module and the flash is below them.

Sources talk about a 6.5 inch OLED screen, a 12 MP camera, 12 MP telephoto lens and a mystery third cam. I have a feeling it won’t be a monochrome one, but maybe a wide angle one, or something totally new. Aside from that the new notch is here to stay, plus the front camera, even though I’ve heard some rumors about a dual front shooter.

Apple has not often been in the position of a copycat, but they just end up that way, if they follow the Huawei P20 Pro route. Even if their camera is better, everyone will remember who did it first.
