HTC Five is the iPhone 5c of HTCs

We haven’t seen as many HTC concepts as before, I have to admit, but every now and then an appealing model pops up, like the HTC Five shown below. This device comes from Giorgi Tedoradze from Georgia and from what I can see it sports a colourful case, that makes me think of the iPhone 5c.

Specs here include a 4.7 inch Full HD display, a quad core 1.8 GHz CPU, 2 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of storage. There’s a Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery inside and an 8 megapixel Ultrapixel camera at the back, plus a 2.1 MP shooter upfront. We’ve got a  variety of colors for the HTC concept and I can’t help but wonder where the name “Five” comes from.

The design is your typical rectangle with curved edges and in the video below you can witness the creation of the HTC render, starting with the pen and paper status. I’m guessing polycarbonate is chosen as a material here yet again and from what I can see the screen is an edge to edge affair. Nothing bad to say about this model, frankly, but is HTC ready to give up metal?
